2005-2023 Mustang UPR Adjustable Engine Mounts
With the release of the S550 Mustang, stricter crash regulations created a tighter hood to engine tolerances making installation of aftermarket intake manifolds like the Cobra Jet and larger twin-screw superchargers more difficult because of the engine to hood clearance. UPR-engineered adjustable engine mounts that allow adjustments of 1/4" increments with a total reduction of 3/4 of an inch decrease in engine height for the additional hood clearance that you need for superchargers and intake manifolds. Not only does lowering your engine provide additional clearance under the hood, it also helps to improve your Mustang handling characteristics by providing a lower center of gravity on the engine. This lower center of gravity on the engine translates into reduced dive and roll, increasing the Mustang steering responsiveness!
UPR Quality
Manufactured from 7075 billet aluminum, these engine mounts are designed to provide an extremely rigid mount that looks as good as it functions. UPR choose 7075 billet because it's nearly double the tensile strength over 6061 billet, providing less deflection on high horsepower engines. The urethane isolators are manufactured from Energy suspension to help reduce unwanted engine vibrations but provide an extremely rigid mount for the engine.
