1986-2004 Mustang UPR IAC Restrictor Plate - 5.0/4.6
Installing this UPR billet aluminum IAC restrictor plate will help fix the annoying hanging idle on your 1986-2004 Mustang 5.0/4.6. If you have experienced the annoying hanging idle after startup, between shifts, or when just revving up your Mustang, it may not be the idle air control (IAC) valve. A common cure for this is restricting the amount of air entering the IAC valve; a UPR restrictor plate may be just what you need. This simple plate goes between the intake and the IAC Valve and limits the amount of air, reducing the time to idle hangs. Made from billet aluminum, this plate has the correct IAC shape and mounting holes to be a perfect fit. Precision-machined to allow just the right amount of air without affecting drivability or normal idling. Best of all, it easily installs in minutes and does not affect factory emissions equipment.

Installation Note

The smaller hole goes towards the driver's side of the throttle body or inlet elbow.
