Protect your Coyote motor's engine with this Ford Performance 2011-2016 Mustang oil-air separator. This Mustang oil separator kit includes a precision molded canister with a unique filter media that separates oil vapor from the air in the PCV system.
This separator was designed and engineered specifically for the Ford 5.0L Coyote Engine and features all OEM hoses and fittings for a high quality installation and function.

What’s going guys? Landan here with LMR.com and today this video is going to cover my quick review and install on Ford Performance’s passenger side oil separator kit fitting the 2011 to present Mustang GT and GT350.

This oil separator from Ford Performance is without question a high quality option when it comes to oil separators for the Coyote powered Mustangs. The heart of the kit is the canister which is made from precision molded plastic with a unique filter media that separates the oil vapor from your PCV system. This separator was designed and engineered specifically for the 5.0 liter coyote engine. However, we dug a little deeper with our own research and discovered this will fit your 2015 to present GT350 and GT350R Mustangs as well.
The kit will include OEM PCV connections and to top everything off, the canister lid features the Ford Performance logo. As far as installation goes guys, this one should take you no more than about 15 minutes of your time.
Simply pop the hood and remove your intake manifold cover if you own a Mustang GT. This can be removed with the strut tower brace still on the car. Disconnect the PCV hose from the manifold and valve cover. Pry off the electrical connection push pins from the valve cover and timing cover.
Position the Ford Performance oil separator into place and utilize the included push pins to secure it to the valve cover. Use the included flexible PCV hose for the canister to manifold connection and the non-flexible hose for the valve cover to canister connection. To check the oil level, remove the four 3mm Allen bolts securing the lid to the canister.
