• Phillips Head Screwdriver

1979-1986 Console Armrest Hinge Reinforcement Kit Installation

• To begin, open your console lid and remove the two upper screws; once these are out of the way, you can set the console lid/armrest assembly to the side.



• Next, remove the two lower screws.



• Dislodge the console trim panel and set it aside.



• Take the new 50 Resto bracket and install the U-nuts onto the inside hole of each bracket.



• Reinstall the console trim panel, install the four lower screws, slide the console armrest pad back, and reinstall the two upper screws. Hand-tighten all of these evenly.



• Check over your work, and you are all done!
