Installation Instructions

Step 1: Remove The Factory Radio

• Start by removing the negative battery cable.
• Remove the HVAC control trim bezel.
• Use the radio removal tools to remove the factory radio.
• Once the radio is pulled from the dash, disconnect the 3 connections at the back of the radio.

Step 2: Remove The Factory Amp

• Remove the center console. Video link above for the full guide.
• Remove the (2) Philips head screws securing the amp to the bracket.
• Remove the amp bracket by removing the (2) 7/16 nuts.
• Pull the amp forward and disconnect the black and gray connectors from the radio wiring harness.

Step 3: Wire Aftermarket Radio Harness

• Using the install harness kit, reference your aftermarket head unit instructions for properly connecting the wires.
• Use your preferred method to properly connect the wires to the black and gray connectors from the install kit to your aftermarket head unit wiring.
• De-pin any unused wires from the gray connector, such as the blue and orange wires if not needed.
• Use harness tape to complete the wiring of the radio harness.

Step 4: Check Fuses & Test The Radio

• Before plugging in the new harness and radio to test it out, check the fuses to make sure they are good for your corresponding year model.
• Connect the new wiring harness to your car's harness. The black connectors will connect together as well as the gray to gray connectors.
• Connect the last connector to the radio and set it aside.
• Reconnect the negative battery cable.
• Turn the Key on.
• Set up the radio as needed and test out the radio function.

Step 5: Install The New Radio Cage & Trim Bezel

• Disconnect the radio.
• With the console still out of the car, mock up the new radio panel and cage.
• Remove the factory radio bracket by removing the (4) Philips head screws.
• Mock up the mounting kit you are using to the console before any drilling.
• Remove any console material as needed.
• Remove the cage from the head unit and install it to the mounting kit.
• Bend the tabs down to lock in the cage to the console.

Step 6: Reinstall The Console & Reconnect Aftermarket Radio

• Reinstall the center console and shifter components.
• Reconnect the new radio harness and feed it into the console.
• Connect the radio harness and antenna to the head unit.
• Slide the radio in place and install the faceplate.
• After this, you are good to go.
