How To Fix 1994-2004 Mustang Door Panel (Support Kit Install)

The door panels in 1994-2004 Mustangs are prone to flexing, rattling, and losing some rigity over the years. This door panel support kit is designed to fix this flexing issue and give you a stronger, more secure attachment. Tools Required:

• Pry Tool
• 1/8" Drill Bit
• Phillips Head Screwdriver

Installation Instructions

1. Remove door panel insert by prying the top edge away from the door panel. Use a pry tool to release the spring clip at the rear.
   
   
   
   
2. Position a Mustang Geek bracket as shown against the flat edge of the door handle mount and use a 1/8” drill bit to drill a pilot hole in the handle mount at the outside hole.
   
   
3. Use one of the supplied self-tapping screws to secure the bracke to the door handle mount.
   
   
4. Drill another 1/8” pilot hole through the inner hole into the door handle bezel.
   
   
   
   
5. Use one of the supplied self-tapping screws to secure the bracke to the door handle bezel. Repeat for the other side and reinsall the door panel inserts.
