  • 1979-1995 Mustang 302/351W Firing Order: 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
  • Non-HO Engine Firing Order: 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8

What Is The 302 Firing Order? - What Is The 302 Firing Order?

Note: All 1979-1995 V8 engines found in the Ford Mustang will use the standard HO firing order shown above. This will also include the 351 5.8L Windsor in the 1993-1995 Gen 1 Lightning trucks. Non-HO engines will use the 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 firing order, this will not be compatible with the 79-95 V8 platform found in the Mustang chassis.
