With the help of computer-aided design (CAD), this panel features factory dimensions and tolerances for an effortless installation. Constructed from durable plastic, all mounting tabs, latch, and key cylinder openings are molded into place. Reinforcement webbing and gussets are featured on the backside for additional strength just like the original door. 5.0 Resto nailed the details with the included hinges and rubber anti-vibration bumpers. New glove box door stoppers are included to ensure the new panel doesn't rattle against the dash after installation. The glove box door itself features factory-like dimensions and tolerances which offer a great fit. The back side of the door incorporates all of the factory-style gusseting, ribbing, and studs for the screws. Speaking of the studs, the inner diameter was slightly oversized because of the screw tolerances. During the development of the glove box door, we found that the factory inner diameter was too small which is a common failure on the OEM door.
Included in the kit are rubber bumpers, stoppers, glove box door to compartment screws, and hinge to dash frame screws. This is an all-inclusive kit, minus paint if yours requires painting.
