Depending on your area, radio reception may be affected when running a shorter antenna. Don't buy into other retailers who say that their shorty antennas won't affect reception.

A common complaint among all Mustang owners is this huge antenna Ford gives us from the factory. Great for reception. Not so great for looks. Quick solution, SVE Shorty Antenna. It doesn't really adversely affect your reception. If you live in a bad reception area, you might notice it get a little worse. But overall if you have good reception before, you're going to have good reception after.
Installation is extremely simple. 3/8 wrench to take off your factory one. 5/16 wrench to put on the new one. Or really simple, just grab a small crescent wrench, use it on both. Now the difference in height between these, we're going to get from the base to the top we've got 32 inches on the factory antenna. That's quite a bit. On our SVE Shorty Antenna we've got eight. That's a huge reduction in antenna height. And for just a few minutes of your time you can drastically change the look of your Mustang.
