How To Install Fox Body Mustang Windshield Moldings (79-93)

They feature a black powder-coat finish for great looks and provides a durable finish. For you 85-86 Four Eye Mustang owners that have the gray exterior trim, these moldings can be scuffed and repainted with our gray exterior trim paint (MET-EXT-01). Don’t forget to pick up window reveal molding removal tool (LRS-TX39) and new windshield molding clips (LRS-42413B) to finish off your install! Mustang Windshield Molding Install Instructions

1. Take Your Windshield Molding Removal Tool And Lift Up Slightly On The Molding And Slide The Hook Of The Tool Until You Find One Of The Three Clips.




2. Engage The Clips And Pull Out Until You Can Hear Them Pop Up. Repeat For The Other Clips.




3. Once All Of The Clips Have Disengaged, The Front Clips Will Need To Be Released And The Molding Can Be Removed.




4. To Install The New Molding, Engage The Tab On The Lower Windshield Molding With The Side Molding, & Snap The Side Molding Into Place.




5. Finish The Install By Engaging The Two Tabs On Your Lower Molding.
