How To Upload SCT Custom Tunes

So you got your new SCT tuner and you are ready to upload that custom tune to unlock the full potential of your Mustang. If you are wondering how to take the SCT custom tune from your email and put it on your tuner, you are not alone. We get a lot of these questions. Steps to Upload a Custom Tune to Your SCT Tuner

1. Make sure you have returned your vehicle to stock.
2. Update by connecting your device if needed.
3. Save your emailed tune file to your desktop by “right-clicking” it within your email.
4. Plug in your supplied USB cable into the device.
5. Now plug the other end into your computer.
6. Open the SCT device updater software.
7. Select “Load Custom Tune File” to start.
8. Click browse and find the emailed file on your desktop and click “Open”.
9. Now you can name your downloaded file – don’t be scared to try something fun.
10. Now you can click "program".
11. Once it has downloaded the tunes onto your device you can now click exit and unplug your device.
12. Upload the desired tune to your vehicle and go have some fun!
