TOOLS NEED TO ADJUST:

  • Long Reach Phillips Head Screwdriver
  • Tape Measure
  • Thin Line Masking Tape
  • Battery Charger Recommended For Longer Adjustments


  1. To get started, verify that all of the light's power on and are properly working. You will need to find some level ground and a flat wall.

  2. Before adjusting the headlights, you will first need to snag a few measurements with the first being the distance between the center of the low beam headlights. The distance will be approximately 48.5".

  3. Next measure the distance between the high beam lights in which the distance is approximately 33.5".

  4. Lastly, measure the distance from the ground to the center point of the headlight which is 26.5".

  5. Position the vehicle as close to the wall as possible and place a verticle piece of tape on the wall that is in line with the center of the car.

  6. Now roll the car back so that the front bumper is 25 feet from the wall.

  7. Measure 26.5" up from the floor and place a horizontal tape line through the centerline.

  8. Divide the low and high beam center point lengths in half and measure out from the center.

  9. Place a verticle piece of tape for the low and high beam measurements.

  10. Now use a longer piece of tape and extend the horizontal line from the center outward (verify that this piece is 26.5" off of the floor).

  11. Do the same for the other side of the wall.

  12. Now that we have a nice template to go off of, turn on the headlights and we have noticed that our driver side is way out of alignment so we will begin with this side.

  13. Cover the side that you are not working on with something that won't scratch or mar the paint (our LMR Fender Cover works well for this).

  14. The verticle adjustment is located at the top of the headlight.

  15. The horizontal adjustment is located at the side of the headlight.

  16. Turn the adjustment screws clockwise or counterclockwise to move the light beam (we chose to center the light beam around the crosshair on the wall and remember the low beams will use the outside crosshairs).

  17. Whenever one side is done you can move the other side so we will start on the high beams. You will need (2) covers for this since the low beams stay on whenever the high beams are activated.

  18. Repeat the same adjustment steps that you did on the low beam headlights and center the high beams around the center of the cross-hair.
