Please note for the 1986 T-Top Fox Body that we are working on in the video, we are missing the T-Top latch cover as well as the plastic guide rod plates.
  1. Also be aware to install these you will first need to have either T-Top glass removed. This is first done by laying the glass upside down on a workbench and remove the latch cover if it is still there.

  2. Whenever the latch cover is removed, loosen and remove the guide rod plates if they are still in place.

  3. Install the aluminum guide rod plate with the raised portion facing the latch assembly.

  4. Thread (2) screws into place, center them within the recess slot and tighten down.

  5. Do the same for the other end of the T-Top glass.

  6. Test for operation and position the T-Top glass back onto its respective side (if needed remove the glass and make additional adjustments.

  7. Whenever your happy with the alignment of the rod, reinstall the latch cover, reinstall the glass, and do the same for the other side.
