When starting this install we are beginning with the instrument cluster already removed from the vehicle. If you need help to accomplish this check out our additional article and video explaining the steps needing to do so.


  1. With the instrument cluster already out of the car and on a workbench, use a pair of needle-nosed pliers and gently rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise 1/8 of a turn to remove from the cluster. Do this for all (5).

  2. The factory bulbs are probably seated into the socket pretty good and will take a little bit of effort to remove.

  3. After removing all of the factory bulbs, install the new LEDs into the sockets (make sure the pins make full contact with the socket).

  4. Reinstall the sockets back into the cluster.

  5. Position the cluster back into the car and reconnect the electrical connections.

  6. Reconnect the battery cable and check for operation.

  7. If some of the bulbs DO NOT power on, make a note as to which bulbs need to be rotated.

  8. Disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the cluster.

  9. Rotate each bulb that did not power on 180 degrees and reinstall back into the cluster. This is because LEDs are polarity sensitive.

  10. Reconnect the battery cable, reinstall the cluster, and check for operation. Whenever all of the bulbs illuminate, you can go ahead and put everything back together.

  11. Reinstall and retighten the (4) T20 torque screws.

  12. Reposition the cluster bezel and fully seat the clips.

  13. Reinstall and retighten the (2) 7mm screws.

  14. Align the headlight knob with the shaft and push until it locks in place.

  15. Tighten the negative battery cable and you're good to go!
