How-To Install a Mustang Rear Lower Glass Molding

A simple, yet key restoration part on any 94-04 Mustang coupe, is the rear lower glass molding. Over time, this piece can deteriorate, fall off, and give your Mustang an incomplete look. This molding fills the gap between the rear glass and the trunk! Keep out any debris that could make its way inside the water run channel. This molding installs in just minutes and can be done without any special tools or adhesives.

Required Tools:

  • None!

Installation Instructions:

  1. Pop your trunk to gain access to your rear lower glass molding.

  3. Carefully pull off the old factory piece.

  5. Clean the area.

Align one side of the molding and then start pushing the molding over the edge of the glass.. working your way to the other end. Close your trunk, and you're all done!
