This is one of the most noticeable shades and became famous from the 1964.5 and 1965 Mustangs. This brings such a classic look to this era of Mustang that it still holds to be a staple color in the community.
This custom color was achieved in 1966’, 67’, & 70’ by shooting a translucent red over a silver or gold base. It got its name from being closely similar to an actual candy apple color!
Being released on 1994-02’ models, this 8-year run of this unique color provided a special touch to SN95’s by adding a slightly darker shade of red.
This color was released on 2002-10’ models and is a very common color with SN95 and S197 Mustang owners. The reason is that it provides a classic look to more modern Mustang styles.
Being released on 2003-07’ Mustangs, Redfire was known as being a more “mature” color because of it’s darker shade, but still providing an aggressive look. This gives owners a nice low-profile look that many enthusiasts look for.
This color has been used on all years from 2011-20’! It provides such a pure red color that is almost brighter than torch red and really pairs with the performance of the Coyote Engine.
Being used on 2014-19’ year models, it is very similar to the redfire color, but slightly darker. The metallic tinted clearcoat gives it that shine that’s not too bright or dull to keep the aggressive look.
