When upgrading your Fox Body pushrod engine, certain aspects need careful calculation, including your rocker arm ratio. While many may already know what combination works on their vehicle, it is always good to double-check before you spend your hard-earned money on parts that don't work with your setup. That is why we have put together this easy-to-use rocker arm ratio calculator to make things simpler.

What Is Rocker Arm Ratio?

Rocker arm ratio is the distance the intake and exhaust valve move in relation to the distance the pushrod moves. It can be calculated by determining two distances. The first being between the pivot point, or the rocker arm stud, and the center of the valve stem (X), and the second being the center of the pivot point and the center of the pushrod (Y). Take your Y measurement and divide it by your X measurement and you will get your rocker arm ratio.
