Safely control the fuel pumps and fuel supply in your 2015-2017 Mustang with a KPM 1500HP-2700HP Fuel Module using this Pulse Width Modulated(PWM) Controller. When upgrading the fuel pump module in your S550 Mustang to a KPM 1500HP or greater system, the fuel pumps constantly run at max current and will begin to heat the fuel that makes its way into your fuel lines. This heat results in fuel atomization, cavitation in the fuel pumps, horsepower loss, and irregular fuel supply. Installing the KPM PWM controller allows for full control of up to 4 fuel pumps, keeping fuel supply consistent, fuel cool, and maximizing the energy potential of the fuel. The PWM controller is a pre-programmed unit that monitors the vehicle fuel pressure at all engine loads, allowing for the correct amount of fuel delivery required during all driving conditions.

How Does the KPM PWM Controller Operate?
The KPM PWM controller arrives pre-programmed and ready for installation. The PWM controller wires into the OEM harness using plug and play connectors that replicate the Factory Fuel System Control Module(FSCM) signal. Due to the OE harness connection, the PWM controller is able to supply and achieve the exact fuel pressure that the PCM is trying to provide to the engine. This electrical design also allows for ease of tuning when finalizing tuning revisions 

Do I Need a PWM Controller?
While the PWM controller is not required to run a KPM 1500HP Fuel Module, KPM HIGHLY recommends that a PWM Controller be installed once a 1500HP or greater kit is installed. Installing a high performance KPM fuel module kit without this controller could result in catastrophic damage to your engine/fuel system.
