Modified Application

  • 1996-2004 Ford Mustang for use with Windsor-based engines pushrod 302/5.0L and 351/5.8L


Application and Fitment Notes:

  • Factory and aftermarket engine mounts may have alignment pins that can cause fitment issues. Removal of the alignment pin might be necessary for correct mating of engine mount to k-member. Removal of the alignment pin might be necessary for correct mating of engine mount to k-member.
  • This K-Member requires the use of front coil springs. Will NOT work with coilover setups.
  • The ball joints on these control arms do not include pre-applied grease. You will need to grease the ball joints after installation.

Premium Spring Perch K-Member Kit - Standard Ball Joints

Improve the handling of your Mustang on the road or track without having to install coilover struts! This BMR premium tubular K-member kit was designed for Mustang enthusiasts who prefer a traditional coil spring setup on their Mustang. The tubular K-member will still reduce the front end weight of your Mustang and includes multiple control arm mounting locations! A set of BMR quality tubular control arms is required to complete the kit. Whether on the street or on the track, the improved steering response from these control arms is noticeable! A durable red powder coating has been applied to both the tubular K-member and the tubular control arms, which resists corrosion and keeps your suspension looking as good as it performs!


BMR Premium Tubular K-Member With Spring Perches

Proudly made in the USA with heavy-duty 1.5" DOM tubing and 3/16" plate steel, this tubular K-member weighs in at 33lbs. Constructed with increased bracing and two front control arm mounting holes, your Mustang will have superior handling performance on the street and road course. BMR went the extra mile and manufactured this tubular K-member with thick welded spring perches, to allow for the use of conventional coil springs, struts, and control arms. Coilovers are no longer a requirement for a K-member upgrade! By removing 15.5lbs of weight off of the front end of your Mustang, you will experience improved traction and weight transfer for the ultimate handling experience! Finished in a durable black hammertone coating, this K-member will resist corrosion as good as it looks and performs!

The factory control arms allow a significant amount of deflection, which can cause changes in alignment, ride quality, and overall poor performance. BMR's tubular front control arms eliminate deflection to improve your driving experience, whether you're on the street or the track! Along with an improved steering response, and lateral grip, the tubular design provides a more nimble feel during hard cornering. BMR went the extra mile, adding spring cups so that factory style springs will work, and no coil-overs are required!
