This engine comes ready for you to bolt on your choice of cylinder head, camshaft, intake manifold, headers, transmission, and accessories, to get the best combination for more horsepower and torque. It comes assembled with a brand-new Blueprint Engines high-strength cast-iron block, a cast crank, rods, and hypereutectic pistons. Blueprint short blocks come with a 12-month warranty at no extra cost for great peace of mind.

Brand New Short Block
With the rarity of an unmodified stock block to remanufacture, Blueprint went out and made their own brand-new high-strength blocks! The robust short block has an increased deck thickness and strengthening webbing throughout, making it far superior to the original Windsor-based 302. Improved water jacket designs allow for more efficient cooling and better coolant flow. Utilizing stronger 4 bolt mains with a 3.00" stroke cast steel crank, OEM type 5.090" connecting rods, -2cc hypereutectic pistons, rounds out the rotating assembly and keeps the stock 302ci displacement. With a compression ratio of 9:4:1 on 60cc cylinder heads, this short block makes great horsepower straight out of the box!
