Barton Hybrid 3 Shifter Bolt-on a 25% throw reduction to your 2015-2025 Mustang GT with Barton's Hybrid 3 short shifter! Barton completely redesigned their S550 shifter to give you the option for mounting the shifter to suit your shifting preference. The new Hybrid 3 shifter can be mounted directly to the transmission or to the body. By mounting to the transmission, you are installing it as a solid linkage, which greatly reduces the sloppiness and missed shifts. You also have the option to mount it to the body for a pivot-style mount like the factory shifter. No matter which way you mount it, you will greatly benefit from shifting feel over the factory shifter.
Barton Quality This short throw shifter is engineered to operate quietly with little to no increase in NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness). The shifter has an adjustable side-to-side spring pressure, which dials you in for a perfect 2 to 3 shift every single time! The side-to-side distance between gears is increased for a more forgiving shift. This is the most complete shifter on the market for your S550!
