Canton oil pans with screw-in dipstick provisions that are used with engine blocks equipped with an in-block dipstick provision must use a 3/8" expansion plug to plug the in-block dipstick provision.
When using a high-volume oil pump, a dimpling of the pan may be needed for clearance.
There is NO provision for a low-oil sensor.
When used with Canton Main Support Girdle CAN-21060 oil pan, Canton oil pump pickup tube CAN-15645 will be required.

1979-1995 Mustang 5.0L Canton Drag Race - Stock Appearance

This Canton rear sump stock eliminator pan includes everything needed for installation on your 1979-1995 Mustangs with 5.0L based engines. This oil pan is designed for drag race stock eliminators, NMRA factory stock, and other classes requiring a stock appearing oil pan. This Mustang Oil Pan comes with a zinc plating finish and is notched for 2 bolt rear main sportsman engine blocks. Canton designed this pan to retain the stock 5 QT capacity and the ability to be used with a stock pickup tube. Other unique features include an integrated crank scraper and slosh baffle.
