DEI's Heat Screen offers an excellent way to reflect radiant heat away from a vehicle's interior or vital components to protect against excessive heat damage. Constructed of a high-temperature resistant fiberglass material, and a thermal barrier on one side made of a superior reflective aluminized glass fiber surface. This DEI Heat Screen sheet is sized 12 inches by 24 inches with a thickness of only .060" to not add unwanted bulk to components in tight areas. Capable of withstanding direct heat up to 1200°F, it can protect areas with excessive heat in the worst environments. DEI uses an aggressive adhesive backing for easy installation and to prevent adhesive failure. The flexible design allows it to contour around areas and can be easily trimmed to size. Position in the vehicle interior over high-heat areas such as the transmission tunnel, mufflers & catalytic converters. Ideal for covering engine components such as intake air tubes, air boxes, brake parts, fuse panels, ECU, and wiring.
