2011-2014 Mustang Motorcraft Non-Heated PCV Valve - 5.0

Replace your malfunctioning non-heated PCV valve with this Motorcraft replacement for the 2011-2014 S197 Mustang 5.0! Installing in the passenger side valve cover and attaching to the PCV hose that connects between the valve cover and the intake manifold. The PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve is part of the positive crankcase ventilation system, which re-routes the crankcase blow-by to the intake manifold and back to the engine, where it's re-burned in the cylinders as part of the fuel/air mixture. This cuts emission pollution and increases fuel economy because unburned fuel in the blow-by is consumed the second time around. It also keeps the blow-by and water vapor from fouling the oil in the crankcase, thus reducing the formation of engine sludge. Featuring a durable plastic construction with the factory-style hose connections with a simple quarter turn installation into the passenger side valve cover.
