Lightning Heat Exchanger
Improve the cooling of your supercharged Lightning with Fluidyne's 1999-2004 Ford Lightning heat exchanger! Fluidyne's heat exchanger is over twice the thickness of the stock unit and has an increased height of 8 3/4” and width of 26 3/8”. Incorporating a cooler, more stable coolant temperature to the intercooler even when the engine is being pushed to it’s limits. This provides more consistent performance on the street and lowers ET times at the strip. Installation time is around 30 minutes and can be accomplished with normal hand tools.

Fluidyne Quality
Don't be deceived by other heat exchangers and their "double pass" claims to superiority over this 5 row single pass design. Surface area is king when it comes to cooling capacity, and no other heat exchanger on the market gives you the functional surface as Fluidyne does. Double pass core designs also force you to relocate hoses due to the inlet and outlet having to be on the same side. Fluidyne Racing Products design does not require this modification for easier installation.

Fitment Notice

Once the bolt is tight/snug, you DO NOT need to go another 1/4", 1/2" or full turn. The rubber bumper becomes over-tightened at that point and will likely cause the rubber bumper to separate.
For warranty purposes, Fluidyne applies a serialized decal to each heat exchanger. Please do not remove this decal.
