SVE Performance 8.8 Rear Axle Differential Cover Upgrade Kit
Improve the strength and support of the 8.8 rear axles in your 1992-1996 Ford Bronco with help from SVE's premium differential cover! The flimsy factory differential cover utilizes a stamped steel construction that is prone to flexing under heavy loads. To prevent this, SVE stepped up to the plate and manufactured this problem-solving differential cover. Whether on the track or street, SVE's differential cover will add strength to your differential by increasing housing rigidity and reducing flex in the main bearings. Extensive flex on these bearings can cause the ring and pinion gear to mesh incorrectly, creating unwanted wear and, eventually the infamous gear whine. To prevent this flex, this cover features adjustable load bolts to properly pre-load the main bearing caps and give your differential the proper support it requires!

Complete Kit
LMR includes everything you need to change this cover, including a LubeLocker differential cover gasket, 3 quarts of 75w-140 Royal Purple Max-Gear gear oil, and one bottle of Ford Performance fiction modifier. The LubeLocker gasket requires no sealant and is reusable in case you need to remove the cover in the future.
Motorcraft Friction Modifier
Motorcraft friction modifier is a specialty formulated additive to provide smooth operation of clutch-type, limited-slip differentials. One bottle of friction modifier is required when changing the gear oil in the rear ends equipped with Ford traction-lock units.
