JLT Conical Air Filter & Shield Kit - 4.6Increase the airflow to the engine on your 1996-2004 Mustang 4.6 with this JLT Conical air filter and heat shield kit! Allowing more air for improved throttle response, more usable power, and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. Allow your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory airbox and air filter assembly thanks to the high-flow reusable air filter. Provided in this kit are the correct mass air flow adapter, heat shield, and an MAF gasket, which is everything you need for a simple installation. The custom-formed heat shield keeps fan wash & engine heat away from the filter inlet & the large S&B conical air filter flows enough air to keep your engine happy. Also included is a billet aluminum MAF adapter that allows the conical filter to be used with your stock MAF, both 80mm & 90mm versions. This conversion is relatively easy to install, usually in an hour or less using existing factory mounting points, and comes with all the necessary hardware and clamps.
