Mustang J&M Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm
Your 05-09 Mustang's stock upper control arm has a design that can result in sudden, unpredictable changes in handling, especially under hard cornering or acceleration. By replacing your stock upper control arm with a J&M adjustable upper control arm, you'll enjoy better cornering, quicker launches, and eliminate the dreaded "wheel hop." The J&M Adjustable Upper Control Arm can be adjusted on-car for on-the-fly changes, and they are double adjustable so you can get settings just right.
J&M uses a unique 3 piece poly-ball bushing combination to keep their bushing moving freely under cornering but maintain stiffness under acceleration. The result? Your Mustang’s rear end will stay planted with no wheel hop on hard launches! Or if it’s twisty roads you’re after, this’ll also stop the rear from jumping or skipping during turns when you want to push it to the limit!
Bushing Lubrication
- The suspension bushings included with this part can only be lubricated with PTFE grease, also referred to as "Marine Grease". PTFE grease is a very sticky, opaque grease that is water proof and will not degrade the bushing material. If lubed properly at installation, these bushings will not need to be lubricated again. Use of any other grease on these bushings will cause the bushing to fail and any bushing warranty to be voided.
