The heater hose runs from the front of the engine, curving back towards the firewall to the outlet of the heater core. The hose is exposed to a lot of heat from the engine, which can cause cracks and even rupture over time. Made of fiber-reinforced rubber, this hose resists heat, ozone, and chemical coolants, with the correct quick disconnect fitting preinstalled.
