2011-2014 F-150 Raptor 6.2 Ford Lower Radiator Hose
Replace the rotted, leaking lower radiator hose with this Ford Original hose for the 2011-2014 SVT Raptor 6.2. The lower radiator hose runs from the front of the engine, curving forward towards the lower inlet on the radiator with secondary hoses for the oil cooler. The hose is exposed to a lot of heat from the engine, which can cause cracks and even rupture over time. Made of fiber-reinforced rubber, this hose resists heat, ozone, and chemical coolants. Constructed with all of the correct bends and diameters for the correct routing and easy installation. Ensure your Raptor's cooling system operates at full capacity for years to come with this durable Ford Original radiator hose!

Symptoms of a bad Raptor Radiator Hose:
  • Coolant Leaks or Puddles: Small coolant drips or puddles on the driveway.
  • Soft, Mushy, or Swollen Hose: With the engine completely cold, gently squeeze the hose. It should feel firm but flexible; if it feels mushy, collapses easily, or has visible bumps, it is breaking down internally.
  • Hard or Brittle Hose: Conversely, a hose that is rock-hard and cannot be squeezed shows extreme heat damage.
  • Sweet Smell: A syrupy, sweet odor around the front of the car is a major indicator of a coolant leak.
  • Engine Overheating: If a failing hose restricts coolant flow or leaks enough fluid, your engine temperature gauge will creep into the red zone.
  • Dry Rot: Visible surface cracks, splits, or flaking of the outer rubber layer indicate the hose has dried out and is failing.
