1995-2004 Mustang Kee Convertible Top Kit w/ Defrost - Black

Sailcloth Vinyl Top
This top features a black finish that is fade resistant as well as matches the factory top in both texture and color. Constructed with a heavy-duty sailcloth vinyl material, this top provides superior durability and long service life with enhanced acoustic properties to lower noise levels at highway speeds. Sailcloth vinyl is constructed with an outer layer of PVC vinyl and an inner layer of dyed polyester/cotton drill lining fabric. This gives it its distinctive grain, which was created to resemble canvas cloth and is a very rich-looking material. Dielectrically sealed seams are utilized to ensure moisture doesn't leak into your interior. Kee tops feature sateen bow sleeves to prevent future issues with the convertible top bows wearing through. You won't have to worry about seams coming apart since they're reinforced with a premium polyester thread.
Defrost Rear Window
High-quality, OEM-style glass with a built-in defroster is utilized for increased clarity and safety. The rear window surround is constructed with the same black heavy-duty sailcloth vinyl material that provides superior durability. Sailcloth vinyl is constructed with an outer layer of PVC vinyl and an inner layer of dyed polyester/cotton drill lining fabric. Dielectrically sealed seams are utilized to ensure moisture doesn't leak into your interior.
Convertible Top Pad
A new convertible top pad is a must with any Mustang convertible top installation as they form a barrier between the frame and top from coming in direct contact. Made from a durable reinforced webbing that is far more wear-resistant than the traditional vinyl/canvas top pad materials. This trim-to-fit 10ft roll is more than enough material to get an exact fit between the top frame and convertible top.
1994-1995 Top Material
From 1994 through August of 1995, Ford used pinpoint vinyl material. This material has a pattern of small dimples constructed from an outer layer of PVC vinyl and an inner layer of dyed 100-percent-cotton sateen cloth. In September of 1995 and spanning all the way through 2004, Ford used sailcloth material which is a more broad texture of bumps that look a little more like woven fabric. It also has an outer layer of PVC plastic, but has an inner layer of gray blended poly/cotton drill fabric. This is what the factory material would have been for the correct year model however, either material will fit from the 1994-2004 year range. Both pinpoint vinyl and sailcloth vinyl are a great option when replacing the convertible top on your SN95 or New Edge Mustang!
