Silicone Shifter & Handle Gaskets
Upgrading the shifter on your 03-04 Mustang Cobra or T56 Equipped Mustang can result in increased gear noise from the shifter. The solution? A Silicone Shifter & Handle Gasket to ease installation and reduce noise. Pre Cut to seal the shifter base to the transmission and fit between the shifter handle, these gaskets are 1/16th" thick and are reusable. Adding these to your shifter will reduce interior noise while maintaining positive shifter feel making gear changes.

NOTE:
If your gaskets are deforming when tightened or pushing out then you are over-tightening the shifter bolts, torque to 11-15 Ft-lbs
