Fox Body Mustang Double Din Radio Install Kit
Replacing the factory radio with a double din unit is a great way to modernize the interior and boost the audio potential in your Mustang. This kit includes everything you need to properly install a double din radio into the dash of any 1987-93 Mustang. The radio housing trim plates and brackets align the radio into place providing a flush fit and finish between the dash. Finally, the gray radio and black speaker harnesses allow the factory radio connections to be adapted for a plug and play design. This design allows you to remove the radio and re-install the factory radio at any time!
What is a "Double Din" Radio?
DIN refers to the industry-specific size 2" x 8" opening that your factory radio fits into. DOUBLE DIN is the same width of 8" but is double the height at 4" instead of 2" to allow for newer, touch-screen style receiver units which can contain app features, bluetooth functionality, and navigation.
