Does This Starter Fit My Car?

1979-1993 Mustang W/ 5.0L Or 5.8L Engine
1992-1993 5.0/5.8 models will NOT use the included red trigger wire. Depending on the terminal end of the stock trigger wire, you may need to change to a different electrical connector end for proper fitment.
The stock 1979-1991 starter motor produces about 11Nm of torque. This High-Torque PMGR starter produces between 16 and 20Nm of torque. The increased torque is further multiplied due to the gear reduction drive mechanism.

Finish Note

Finish may vary due to changing from a Yellow Zinc to a Silver Zinc finish.
