Replacing your current rotors and pads (that may be worn beyond recognition) is an excellent way to improve braking performance, safety, and driver confidence. We carefully select a rotor-pad combination that meets strict standards for safety, performance, and durability. Designed for everyday street use while providing dependable performance during spirited driving, autocross events, or occasional track days, this rotor and pad kit is a great upgrade for any enthusiast. This kit includes two premium 10" front brake rotors and a set of Dynamic Friction semi-metallic brake pads, making for a great braking combo for your Mustang.
10" Diameter Brake RotorsAt the center of this Mustang rotor and brake pad kit are the premium brake rotors. Utilizes iron castings sized in the correct spec, 10" diameter, to provide exceptional strength, stability, and long-lasting durability. The friction surface features a non-directional finish that promotes proper pad seating for quicker break-in, quieter operation, and smoother stopping performance. Each rotor is precision-balanced and corrected using an advanced electronic mill-balance process to minimize vibration and ensure consistent operation at all speeds. The original vane configuration is used to ensure proper heat dissipation. Before leaving the factory, every rotor undergoes extensive testing and inspection to ensure it meets OE specifications for fit, function, and performance.
Dynamic Friction Brake Pads - Semi-MetallicUtilizing the Dynamic Friction 5000 advanced brake pad formula, these DFC brake pads are designed for OE equivalent performance. This low-Copper formula maintains factory-style balanced braking with correct friction performance to deliver a consistent pedal feel and response. DFC carefully chooses the premium materials that go into every brake pad to provide you with a high-quality pad with extended durability to expand the service life for both the pads and rotors you pair them with. To minimize noise, vibration, and harshness; Dynamic Friction uses a unique layer of rubber, steel, then rubber again shim combination. Each pad is post-cured and scorched to remove uncured bonding agents to minimize the need for an initial break-in period and increase stopping power from the initial stop. Finally, an underlayer between the pad compound and backing plate provides improved friction plate adhesion to further decrease noise, while also providing a thermal barrier for the caliper to reduce the possibility of fluid boil.
