Mustang Ignition Cylinder And Keys
Over time, cylinders can become worn and no longer work correctly. This is a direct replacement for the factory ignition lock cylinder in your 1979-1993 Mustang GT, LX, or Cobra. This new 5.0 Resto ignition cylinder is chrome plated and comes with two new matching keys. This Mustang ignition cylinder features a one-wire plug-in installation for easy install.
Lock Cylinder
The ignition lock cylinder is a mechanical component and has no bearing on electrical distribution other than actuating the ignition switch. If you are experiencing electrical distribution issues or no-start concerns, look at the ignition switch and its associated connector instead.
