LMR Duraspark Small Cap Conversion Kit
LMR's Duraspark distributor small-cap conversion kit for the 1979-1985 Fox Body Mustang 5.0 makes working on your engine a bit easier and gives you more room. One of the many issues with the Duraspark distributor is the large size of the factory cap and two-piece design. Converting to a smaller single-piece cap eliminates several issues, gains extra clearance over a 1/2" all-around, maintains original-style plug wires, and reduces the potential for improper contact. The distributor cap uses high-quality brass terminals with the correct mounting points for simple installation. A durable distributor rotor plugs right onto the Duraspark distributor and transfers spark via a stainless steel spring and brass contact. The conversion is simple by removing the original cap, rotor and adapter and installing the new rotor and cap directly onto the Duraspark distributor.
