Prevent engine damage on your 2018-2023 Mustang 5.0 engine with this Ford Original replacement engine knock sensor! Knock sensors are a vital part of your engine's monitoring system. They detect cylinder knock and retard timing to prevent engine damage. Being attached to the block in the valley of the engine, they are subjected to high amounts of heat. Over time, this can cause the sensor leads and sensors themselves to become brittle and break. The factory correct sensor connector to attach to your factory engine harness. If you have a faulty or broken sensor, replace your sensor with this Ford Original replacement Gen 3 Coyote knock sensor!
