Ford Hood Ajar Switch
Replace the broken hood ajar switch with this Ford Original 2005-2014 S197 Mustang switch. This push-button switch mounts on the front core support area near the front bumper and indicates when the hood is left open. It also works in conjunction with your anti-theft system, setting the alarm off if the hood is pried open. Constructed just like the OEM switch with a stamped steel bracket included and a self-adjusting mechanism for a quick and easy replacement. A new rubber plunger is preinstalled by Ford to help prevent dirt and debris from the engine bay from getting into the switch. Utilizing the correct factory connector means no splicing or wiring is needed.
