Mustang LX Body Side Molding Kit Complete the exterior restoration of your Fox Body the right way with this 1987-1993 Mustang LX body side molding kit from Daniel Carpenter Reproductions! These moldings run along each side of the body and attach to the fenders, doors, and quarter panels. The best way to get a quality paint job is to take off these moldings to get proper paint coverage throughout. These moldings are usually worn from exterior elements and often don't survive the removal process. DCR compiled this complete LX body molding kit to properly restore the look of your LX back to showroom new.
High-Quality Construction Compiled in this kit is every molding needed to replace your factory body side moldings. The rear of fender moldings, door moldings, and front of quarter panel moldings are built with a molded urethane that provides added strength so the factory metal bands are no longer needed. These moldings have 3M double-sided tape pre-installed on the back of the molding to secure the molding in place after prep and paint. The front of fender and rear of quarter panel moldings are built with a molded plastic construction. These moldings have integrated plastic studs on the backside that secure the molding to the fender and quarter panel with the included pal nuts. Each molding has the LX specific recessed C-channel for the accent stripe running from the front of the molding to the rear. You won't find a better kit to restore the original styling of your LX Fox Body!
Application- Fits 1987-1993 Mustang LX
Disclaimer
Test fitment and paint preparation of this part are mandatory BEFORE painting. Neither LMR nor the product manufacturer is responsible for fitment or finish issues after the paint has been applied. Professional preparation, installation, and painting are highly recommended.
On urethane and fiberglass body parts, due to the manufacturing process, it is common to see irregular surface patterns, sanding, buffing, and mold release marks on products. These marks are normal and will not be present once the product has been sanded, prepped, and painted to match your vehicle.
