Mustang GT500 Fender Emblems
Give your Mustang a customized look and showcase your Cobra spirit all at the same time with these slick 2007-2014 GT500 emblems! These are the same emblems that came factory on all Shelby GT500 Mustangs. The emblems are made of a high quality molded plastic and feature a satin silver finish with recessed black inserts. These are much taller (4.25") than earlier model Cobra emblems (2.75").
Emblem Alignment Tabs
This emblem features plastic alignment tabs molded into the backside. These tabs match up with the holes drilled into your Mustang's fenders so that it will be perfectly aligned upon installation. However, if you prefer to use this emblem in a different location or on a vehicle not originally equipped with these emblems, they can be easily cut off with a pair of cutting pliers or ground off with a grinder, or Dremel tool.
Quick Emblem Removal
Many people heat the orignal Mustang emblem badge with a hair dryer to loosen the double sided tape. Fishing line or dental floss held in each hand can be pulled behind the emblem to finish seperating it from the Mustang body. Once started, the emblem badge can be removed by placing a thin flat object between emblem and body being careful not to scratch paint. Apply light steady pressure to break the seal of the double sided tape and gently pry and pull until the emblem is free of the body.
