GT500/Mach 1 Style Carbon Fiber SpoilerImprove the styling and performance of your S550 with this carbon fiber, GT500 style rear spoiler for 2015-2023 Mustang coupe! Ford installed this spoiler design on several high-end Mustang models, including GT350, Mach 1, and GT500. This unique design features two channels that allow turbulent air to flow through, while three other sections of the spoiler catch air to keep the rear end planted. While there are a few iterations of the spoiler on the market, this one stands out with a unique, carbon fiber construction with a high-gloss finish that is sure to look great on any color S550!
Lightweight Carbon Fiber Construction
Real gloss carbon fiber weave is used throughout the exposed surfaces, using a vacuum resin infusion construction, giving it depth. Utilizing strong yet lightweight carbon fiber materials enables high performance while minimizing weight. The exceptional strength of the carbon fiber sheets, with their 3x3 twill weave pattern, provides excellent appearance and durability. This isn't just cheap "carbon fiber" on the market, which is merely a single layer over a fiberglass base; here, it is used only for internal reinforcments. A glossy, clear coat adds depth to the intricate pattern, providing excellent UV protection against fading or yellowing.
Installation Notes- It is very important to use an adhesion promoter on all surface areas where the double-sided adhesive tape is applied.
