Mustang Antenna Delete Panel
Complete your radio delete the right way with this 1994-2004 Mustang antenna delete panel! This is a similar panel to the one used on the 2000 Cobra R to cover up the hole in the fender where the antenna would have been. Featuring the factory oval shape, and textured center, this panel installs easily over the hole left behind in your fender. The panel has the correct locating tabs for an easy installation, as well as automotive grade double sided tape for a secure fit on your Mustang. A black finish completes this delete panel for a factory style look!
I kind of wanted to get rid of the antenna look even though I had a stubby antenna in there. So i figured I'd try this one out. It shipped pretty fast like 2 days. First and foremost once you remove the original bezel and housing you will see dirt and crud which can be removed with a bit of fetal spray. The reason I give it 3 stars is because the size and shape is a bit smaller than the original bezel Ford puts. As a result you'll see an existing outline of the original bezel. The second reason it's not so great is because the 3M material interferes with the 3 screw holes so the plastic delete bezel doesn't sit flush on the fender. I had to cut out the 3 outlined circles on the 3M material for it to sit flush. In a nutshell it wasn't that much of a pain, the 3M adhesive problem isn't a big deal what gets under my skin is the fact it's not the same size as te original which makes the outline stand out. OCD thing. Either way it serves its purpose and for $15 it's alright but just know you will more than likely fidel with it.
