Attached directly to the side of the blower motor housing the vent tube is a simple molded rubber tube. Over time, the vent tube can become brittle and deteriorate or is just be missing altogether. The vent tube pulls cool air into the brush area of the blower motor and cools the motor, especially when the fan is on max settings. Built into the tube is the correct diameter grommet that slips onto the motor, giving a secure attachment. Ensure your Fox Body HVAC system is working at peak efficiency with this Ford Orginal blower motor vent tube.
