Hard Brake Pedal After Brake Upgrade?
Wanting to upgrade the braking system on your 2009-2014 Ford Mustang or already have and now are dealing with a hard pedal? This is because the stock Brake Booster was calibrated to provide a certain amount of "assist" witht he stock brakes. Going to a big brake setup requires moving more fluid against a larger caliper piston surface area, and that requires more "assist" from the brake booster to keep a stock pedal feel.

OK so late last year I purchased the M-2300-S Brake Kit from LMR and contemplated whether to additionally purchase the GT500 Brake Booster. I didn't and the stock booster worked just fine. So why I did I eventually purchase this part later? I've been building out my 2013 premium GT with parts from Ford/FRPP to include the track pack options. This was one of those parts. As far as the difference, I would say there is a slightly quicker brake engagement over stock. nothing dramatic.
