SVE Fox Body 4-Lug Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit
Maintain loyalty to a 4-lug setup with SVE's comprehensive 4-lug disk brake conversion for 8.8"-equipped 1986-1992 Fox Body Mustangs! SVE has adapted to find new ways to bring parts back that fell victim to discontinuation, such as the popular 93 Cobra/Turbo Coupe disc brake conversion. This kit features 1994-2004 Cobra-style rear calipers that will provide the same great braking performance as previous kits. For the calipers to be mounted up correctly, we include the correct brake caliper adapter brackets that complement the caliper and 10.5" rear rotors. Hub-centric rings allow the re-drilled SN95 10.5" rear rotors to properly center the rotor on your existing Fox Body axles. These parts are supported and held securely in place by the long list of components we include, which are detailed further down the description. It's hard to beat a period-correct upgrade while retaining an OE look, which is what the SVE 4-lug disc brake conversion kit is designed to do!
Cobra Brake Calipers and 4 Lug Rotors
Remanufactured 1994-2004 SN95 Cobra-style brake calipers are supplied to provide a readily available caliper option with no digging in the junkyard. Brand new OE-style pads as also supplied that give great performance out of the box. SVE utilizes precisely redrilled 10.5" SN95 GT/V6 rear brake rotors to the proper 4x108 lug pattern your factory axles use. While this kit was in development, we found some wheel mounting flanges to be thicker than others due to variance from the factory, thus not allowing enough thread engagement on the lug nuts. To solve this issue, we have included the longer SN95 wheel studs that are still the correct 1/2x20 thread pitch to install on your existing 4 Lug Fox Body 8.8" rear axles.

To demonstrate their attention to detail, SVE utilizes only the highest quality materials possible to provide an effective kit that eliminates all guesswork to properly transfer fluid to the rear brake calipers. A set of new axle hardlines and J&M stainless steel brake hoses ensure your lines don't expand during heavy braking, whether on the street or on the track. SVE includes two 86-92 Mustang parking cables to replace the emergency brake cable installed from the factory and the E-clips to retain them to the brake caliper. A 5.0 Resto adjustable front parking brake cable is supplied to tie the parking brake system together. New brake dust shields provide the finishing touch to make it look like a factory install!
