Mustang GT Door Molding
Restore the look of your Fox Body with this driver side 1987-1993 Mustang GT/Cobra door molding from Daniel Carpenter Reproductions! This molding can become wrinkled during removal and unable to be straightened back out due to the metal banding that was inside from the factory. DCR offers this replacement driver side door molding that replaces your wrinkled or cracked molding to properly restore the look of your GT or Cobra back to showroom new.
Quality Construction
This door molding is built with molded urethane that provides added strength so metal bands are no longer needed. The new molding has the GT & Cobra specific recessed C-channel for the accent stripe running from the front of the molding to the rear. The front section of the molding has the slanted edge to allow the door to open, while the rear section has a straight edge that stops at the back of the door. 3M double-sided tape is pre-installed on the back of the molding to secure the molding in place after prep and paint.
Molding Note
Due to the manufacturing process, scuff marks may be apparent. These marks must be sanded and prepped before painting and installation.
