5.0 Resto Door Lock Actuator Kit
Restore the function of your power locks with this new, stronger 1979-1993 Mustang 5.0 Resto door lock actuator kit! This kit contains everything you need to swap out the door lock actuators in your Fox Body Mustang. Over years of use, the door lock actuator can become rusted, or the solenoid can stop functioning. Replace both of your non-functioning door lock actuators with an improved, stronger, and smoother operating door lock actuator kit! These door lock actuators include a durable rubber boot designed to keep foreign contaminants out of the solenoid. You'll receive two new stronger actuators, installation rivets, door panel push pins, and a push pin removal tool. This kit allows you to complete the installation from start to finish.

Tested for Quality
5.0 Resto has undergone rigorous testing that includes putting extra weight on the actuator arm to ensure it still functions under normal operating conditions. These tests (when compared against other actuators) resulted in a strong, efficient motion any time the lock switch was engaged. To ensure you experience the same results in your Fox Body, you must ensure the surrounding components are in working order during installation. This includes proper lubrication of the actuator rod, a non-seized or gummed up door latch assembly, and new door latch bushings.
