Stock Style Head Bolts - 5.0
Secure your 302W-equipped 1979-1995 Mustang cylinder heads with this factory-style head bolt kit! Whether you are replacing some blown head gaskets or just rebuilding your engine, a new set of head bolts is a must! Factory 5.0 head bolts are what is known as torque to yield, which requires the bolt to be stretched to give you the proper torque needed. While this gives you a strong even torque on the cylinder heads the process does not allow the reuse of the bolts and are a one-time-use item. Made out of durable steel just like the OEM head bolts with the correct flanged hex head design with the correct 7/16" thread pitch. Each of the lower head bolts has a sealer pre-applied to help with installation along with supplying two stud-style head bolts that hold the retaining clip for the fuel rail supply tubes. A black oxide finish is utilized to provide corrosion and rust protection that lasts. Have your factory 302 cylinder heads bolted in for a quick and easy rebuild!
