If you plan on swapping in a 4.6, Gen 1, Gen 2, or Gen 3 Coyote engine into your Mustang, this oil filter adapter bung is a must-have. This oil filter adapter is a Ford OE adapter that is designed to be used without the factory oil cooler that comes installed on coyote crate engines. Once the factory oil cooler is removed from the coyote engine block, you will screw this oil filter adapter bung into place. When installing this oil filter adapter, it will save room within the engine bay and allows for proper clearance and the use of an oil filter without a relocation kit. Also works great for the 96-04 4.6 2V, 03-04 Mach 1, and 05-10 4.6 3v as an oil filter bung.
